John has shown rare courage and determination to overcome a life-threatening battle with cancer, and then sail halfway around the world as crew on board ‘Time & Tide’ in the BT Global Challenge.

He has come back to evermore successful business career in finance, and continues to be in demand as a motivational speaker. His memorable and appealing metaphors are applicable to business and personal challenges in everyday life.

John connects with people wherever he goes and makes sales because he loves to help others achieve their goals, not because he needs the money. Based on his people skills, John wrote a highly successful book titled “Networking Games – Making Profitable Connections”.

John is ‘one of the people who are looking for challenges – not hiding from them.’ Hence after his early retirement at Bunnings Artarmon where he became was one of the sought after team members he decided to start afresh and utilize his sales and service skills in a new industry. When Deborah offered him an opportunity to join Green Estate Agents the challenge was what John has waited for.

John originally started as the youngest door-to-door salesmen for World Book encyclopedia and throughout his professional life successfully sold many different products in various industries. He is well known for his ability to connect with people of diverse socio-economic backgrounds, nationalities and age groups. He brings in a lifetime of sales experience and ability to establish lasting contacts with people he meets, making every listing into a challenging opportunity to make some very special people – sellers and buyers alike, extremely happy.
